Drag Racing Weekend at Coos Bay Speedway Canceled Due to Rain
Well, that’s March for you! Unfortunately, the much-anticipated Season Opening Drag Racing Weekend at Coos Bay Speedway has been canceled due to rainy weather. Mother Nature has other plans, and the wet conditions just won’t allow for a safe or competitive racing surface.
We know how excited everyone was to see the action on the track, and we share in the disappointment. But that’s spring in the Pacific Northwest—one minute it’s race-ready, and the next, it’s a downpour!
Stay tuned for updates on upcoming events, and let’s hope for drier conditions soon. In the meantime, keep those engines warm, and we’ll see you at the next race!
