NHRA Drag Racing Takes Over The Facility This Weekend June 8-10

Drag racing returns this weekend June 8-10 as we have had a few weeks off from the last time opportunity to hit the strip back in May. Teams are excited to hit the prepped drag strip as this will be the final tune-up before Wally Weekend coming up July 14 & 15. Race teams are expected to rally their way to the coast for the second Friday Night drags of the year and the continuation of the ET Summit Series both Saturday and Sunday.

Racers can take advantage of free overnight camping through the weekend and are encouraged to come join the daily festivities of drag racing during the day and campfires at night. Also, something to take advantage of is the Sportsman division Racers Pot Roll Over from the past event. The Sportsman division Racer Pot will start at $220 and will grow well over $350 by the start of brackets Saturday.

Concession and beer will be on tap all three days as you enjoy the sound of thunder with the thrill of speed here at the Coos Bay Speedway.
