April 27-29 Drag Racing Weekend Canceled Due To The Weather

Entire Weekend Of Drag Racing Declared A Loss Due To The Weather At Coos Bay Speedway.

With afternoon showers hitting the track and knowing that any moisture what so ever this evening will cause us to lose the prepped race track officials have decided to CANCEL the Friday Night Drags as well as Saturday & Sunday's scheduled events.

Tonight is iffy we may or may not get it off. Even if it stays dry for us it will be cold and we would like for everyone to have a good time not be miserable due to the weather.

Saturday & Sunday are calling for pretty much 100% rain during race time and I feel that not canceling now would cost those that have to travel any distance.

We are really sorry for the uncontrolled circumstances but we all can be happy that we only have to wait two weeks before we can try again. Next weekend is Pepsi Night on the NASCAR oval then back to drag racing Friday, Saturday, & Sunday, May 11, 12, & 13.
