Bowman Back For Wild West Modified Shootout

Eagle Point's Brian Bowman is back in the driver seat after taking quite a bit of time off. Driving off and on for a race or two the Gage It Construction/Line-X Bedliners of Southern Oregon/Battery Systems/West Coast Pipeline #222 Hughes chauffeur is planning to run fulltime for the first time since 2008. He has only ran a handful of times this year but seems to be enjoying himself.
“The car has had a few bugs but I think we worked them out this past week,” commented Bowman.
Brian's best performance this season is a third place finish at Southern Oregon Speedway. Although he may not have big wins as a driver he has had a lot of success in the past as Jon DeBenedettti's former car owner. The plan for him is to make the first three races and run the final two at Willamette Speedway. Unfortunately he will miss the Cottage Grove and Sunset dates due to having to work in the middle of the week.
“I want to do the very best I can do as a driver,” he would continue, “I know we have a car that is capable of doing really well.”
The 2015 Wild West Modified Shootout kicks off at Southern Oregon Speedway on Saturday June 13th. The tour will wrap things up at Willamette Speedway on the 19th and 20th to close the speedweek out for the second straight year. Teams from Oregon, Washington, California, North Dakota, Montana, and British Columbia Canada are expected to make the journey.
