The wait is over—NHRA Drag Racing is back at Coos Bay Speedway for the official season opener! Join us for a full weekend of sun and racing excitement, kicking off with Friday Night Drags on April 18 and continuing through the weekend with non-stop bracket racing action.
This three-day event will feature thrilling side-by-side drag racing, test and tune sessions, and plenty of opportunities for drivers and fans alike to enjoy the start of a brand-new season. Whether you’re racing or watching from the stands, this is one event you won’t want to miss.
Weekend Schedule:
Friday, April 18 – Friday Night Drags
Gates Open 6 pm
Tech Opens 6:15 pm
Racing/Test & Tune 7 pm-11 pm
Driver/Rider $25
Spectator $8 (Every Ticket Is A Pit Pass)
Kids 6 & Under FREE
Saturday, April 19 – Full day of racing
Gates Open 9 am
Tech Opens 9:15 am
Time Trials 11 am
Bracket Racing Starts 1 pm
Driver $50 (Guaranteed Payout)
Spectators $15 (Every Ticket Is A Pit Pass)
Kids 6 & Under FREE
Sunday, April 20 – More bracket racing and final rounds
Gates open early each day. Food vendors, pit access, and plenty of racing action all weekend long.
